The World Series of Poker (WSOP) - the most prestigious poker series tournaments in the world. A world series is spent every year in American city of Las Âåãàñ, lasts more than month and consists of more than 50 tournaments with the various payments including all basic versions of poker, including Texas Hold'em Limit, Omaha Pot Limit, 7-Card-Stud Hi/Lo, Pot Limit, No Limit and other kinds of poker, such as Razz and Lowball. That the first big competition on poker has been spent in 1968 when Volume Moore from San Antonio (State of Texas), on purpose to advertise the hotel "Holiday Hotel and Casino" in Reno, has organised tournament "The Texas Gamblers Reunion" which it is considered to be the basis of a World series of poker. It has won Crandall Addington which eight times got to number of ten best at main competition WSOP - a record which keeps till now.

Within the limits of WSOP 2006 46 competitions have taken place, thus more than 42 thousand participants from 56 countries of the world have generated the general prize-winning fund exceeding 171 million of dollars - the biggest in history not only poker, but also sports competitions as a whole.

Poker tournaments can be limit and non limits. In limit pokers-tournaments of the sum of rates in each level are stipulated in advance, and for each circle of trade one rate and three liftings are resolved only. When in limit poker-tournament remains only two players the limit on quantity of liftings is cancelled. Non-limits pokers-tournaments, as well as pokers-tournaments with bank restriction, have no limit on quantity of liftings.
